Great way to spend a few relaxing hours

I think the poor reviews of this set did not remember that you get what you pay for. The expert sets are often 299 to 499. I think for the price is was excellent fun and well worth the money for a few hours of pure relaxation!!!

Where are all of the pieces???

I have built countless lego sets with my son over the years. I have spent a TON of money with Lego. Now that the Christmas season has begun we started to build this set first. We got to bag number #2, the trolly. My son could not wait to roll this thing around. While building, first the drivers cap was missing. No big deal I guess. Then 2 other pieces. Then 3 other pieces. Seriously? Where is the quality control? I've never had this happen before. $100 wasted. Need some resolution asap. I don't want replacements after the holidays as this was intended to be a decoration. I may go checkout playmobil instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lego set 10308

Love the Xmas town but purchased motor and track and there is no instructions for track. After messing with it for an hour or so there is no way to make a circle or oval to connect track. I already had to buy all the added sets to make it run. But looking at track set 60205 I have to buy 2 or 3 more sets. Unless someone out there knows how to connect it. The box shows one set of track number 60205
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good product for the money

This is our first Holiday set. It took two of us about 3 hours to build (myself and an advanced teen builder). I thought it was a good value for what is included in the set. The tree was a bear to snap on to the support post-it doesn't line up and stay connected, so we modified it a bit to make it stay. We are looking forward to displaying it for the holidays.

Both buildings, while thin, are colored beautifully. The Trolley Fits into a City. Definitely enjoyed the Holly Jolly Christmas song reference in the Music store.

Fun build, great details,

This build was fun in the fact that two people are able to build without having to try and share a book. The fact that you get three big pieces to build a town scene is nice, but compared to the previous Holiday Main Street sets, it doesn’t compare. The details with this set are still impeccable, per usual with Lego. You can purchase additional items to make the trolley run. All in all a fun build for one or two people. Adult and 9 year assembled in a coupe of hours building continuously.

What happened with the stickers?

The set is fun to build with good details. The family was really excited for the trolley. We were a little disappointed there was no track for the trolley. But the big disappointment were the stickers. There is no protection for them. Ours were crumpled up between bags. Right now the set is built without stickers but still adds fun to our holiday winter village. Hopefully flattening the stickers between a stack of books will salvage them.
