first of all, this thing is MASSIVE. you need to have a place for it, and i’d honestly advise building it where you want it to be displayed because it is … sensitive to changing locations (a bit like humans, i guess 😂).
i love the detail on this set. the path, the bench, the signs, the action photos - all awesome. so were the ancillary sets, which were fun and thoughtful. we also loved the colors, but that’s our personal preference - luckily you can see the colors easily online before you buy to figure out if they’re for you.
i admit there is inconsistency with play, like others have noted. the chain constantly breaks (abt every three or four ascents) and the car often lines up a bit short of the top track each time we fix the chain. finally, the cars typically come to rest just shy of the boarding area. in spite of this stuff, it’s still great, it just gets played with less often. aesthetically, i see why folks have said that some of the technic could have been hidden, but i think most real life coasters DO have exposed supports, motors, gears, etc. the last thing we noticed is that the kid that’s included is too short to ride the coaster by themself, according to the signage, but that was an amusing detail for us more than anything.
we always get a huge response from visitors when they see it. everyone wants to play! great set, and be ready for the footprint. it’s a big one!
Challenging and glad it came apart so some missed steps were corrected. Waiting to install after market motor and converted previous coaster set pieces into the Loop Coaster.
I have done alot of lego sets but none of them have amazed me like this one. Built correctly it works 100%! Definitely a must have. Better get before it retires or you will regret it for sure

I've had this sitting around waiting for the time to committ....not disappointed!!! Great build, not repetitive (except track chain). And it functions perfectly. Great job, worth every penny and my time- thanks
Being a big amusement park fan as well as the Black Friday deal, getting this set was a no-brainer. However, I did have some skepticism. I still decided to purchase and I'm glad I did. I will admit when I first put it together, it wasn't working 100% of the time, but after rebuilding, it works like a charm. I got the opportunity of rebuilding several of the features moving the set, but again, got it working 100% of the time. If I were to offer suggestions, the building instruction pictures could have been better. Several times they only show part of the coaster and it was hard to tell where the build was happening. Also, some of the structures could have been sturdier.

I cannot emphasize how much fun it was to build this Lego with my daughter. And what's more, this is a Lego she can constantly play with. It is truly the gift that keeps on giving. Lego, please design more mechanical sets that move and interact!
My son is 9 and loves legos and was able to build this in one weekend and he absolutely loves it. I would say there needs to be more rollercoaster sets.
