I give the Samsung A14 four stars because I've only had it for 2 days so to give it 5 stars based on 2 day use may not be as fair. However, to say the A14 is a crappy phone would be a stretch. It is indeed a very nice phone for the price. For me this is a plus. The size, the functionality of the phone, the speed, easy transfer of data from one phone to the next, is amazing and let's not forget the battery life which holds for a long time. Speaking of battery life my phone held 13% so long I couldn't believe it as most phones love to inconveniencely die. I at first thought something was wrong. Nope. I also love nostalgic things on phones like 3mm headphone Jack's most phones have dumped this feature. I have yet to take any pictures so cannot speak to that. The phone loads fast, and does not lag and the updates the phone has does not seem to bother the usage of the phone which can happen to many high end phones after they upgrade. Sound and text are nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't buy this phone

I have always had samsung and was very happy with them until I got this one. I bought it at the end of January of 2023 and have had so much trouble with it. I thought ok I just got a lemon so I worked with the company and they sent me a new one, however it was not any better. I can be sitting in the same chair and most people can't hear me so I put it on speaker but don't like to be loud while the TV is on. I bought a earbud (with Bluetooth) some can hear me but most can not. I will never get another samsung. Now I am going to need to buy another phone. After just 6 months I feel like I just threw away that money. I would not recommend this phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed. Not really any better than the 6 year old phone I just replaced. 1. Does not come with anything to plug into a normal electrical outlet for charging. 2. Randomly downloads apps that I don't want and didn't aprrove. 3. Will randomly switch between apps in the middle of use.

Annoying phone! The screen cannot be set to stay on longer than just a few seconds without touching it. I will not purchase another Samsung product without checking every feature. I have had several so called phone "gurus" try to find a solution. Still no joy.
