Great Charcoal Kettle Grill

This kettle grill cooks fast and even using very little charcoal. I even cook pizza as it gets over 600 degrees. I would recommend this kettle grill to anyone who likes the taste of BBQ over charcoal compared to gas.

great cooking grill

this is a great grill, cooking and cleanup are fast and easy, features like the charcoal grate, ash pan and the cooking grate design are just amazing. fast even heat. this is just a great product all around. my only issue is weak welds on the legs, all three cracked in just a couple months and the grill was never mover a lot, but customer service was great and sent me three new legs. charbroil beef up the legs and this grill would be top of the line for the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic Grill

I've had my Char-Broil grill for over a year, and I wished I this was available years ago. I can grill and smoke with this grill, and everything comes out just the way I want. The only problem I have is that I can't find the exact cover to go with it, but I have learned to adapt. I decided to purchase another grill for my daughter, and I'm sure my grandson will be asking for one as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great charcoal grill

I bought my kettleman grill a month ago.i love it. It was easy to put together and grilling on it is a dream. This kettleman is the secret in charcoal grilling. I wish it was more available in Raleigh nc. I had to search to find one. I hope when I need parts they will be easier to locate. For future consideration I would like to see charbroil come out with a double wall model in the 300 dollar range. By then I will be ready to purchase another charbroiled grill.

Best Ever, Love It!

Simply Great. I am a retired tech writer and the assembly instructions are excellent. I have only had the grill for a week but I have already used it 3-times with perfect results. I fixed my wife's favorite 1-inch pork chops and they were the best ever. This weekend I have family coming and I am doing ribs. Can't wait. Thank You Char-Broil.

Poor design, No temperature control

Cannot regulate temp due to the many permanent holes in the kettle and the rear space in the lid. It just flows air unrestricted, and it cannot be changed. Any temp control by the large vent holes is nominal. This may be OK for those who just warm up food; but, if you really want to GRILL a steak, or char a burger, you will not be able to char the surface of the meat, except where the grill marks are. If you get the grill really hot for a semblance of char, needed for a med/rare steak, the "porcelain" finish comes off. I have used this grill 4 times, and am ordering a new grill grate so I can sell this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice features but the grill grate coat lacks

Unbelievable as far as a charcoal. I am absolutely excited about how it thoroughly cook the meat without even being on the heat.
