Too Hott for grilling anything!

Had to buy a small grill plate to lay on bottom above the catch pan, cause the charcoal holding grill isn't 5 inches fro the main grill plate. I filled my charcoal chimminea full the first grilling, but used about 15 pieces of charcoal an indirect cooked my burgers! Way to hot of a grill to get meat done! If you eat meat raw, and just seared on the outside this would be ok for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I expected way too much....

Got this grill as a birthday gift in Aug 2016. I've never been able to control the temp with this grill. I get flare ups, and now I got a grill that doesn't want to stand up straight. I've used it maybe 6 times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Juicy food

I bought this grill two weeks ago and have used it 3 times.. Prior to this grill my wife dreaded when I grilled burgers now she can't wait till I make more. Also made boneless skinless chicken breasts yesterday and for the first time ever I made them perfect. My old grill would dry them out. And it barely uses a third of the briquettes for a cook than my last grill did. It feels sturdy and we'll built for the price.. Glad I purchased it ..

top warming rack

I saw the model at the store had a warming rack included which is one of the reasons I purchased this grill. But at purchase, I see there is no warming rack??? What did they use that would be universal. I love this grill!!!! It is heavy duty and much more stable than other brands and just as portable and convenient to use as the competitors... but why show the model with a warming rack when it don't come with one? Where can I get one. I really like to use warming racks after I have my food seared.

Vent handle broken

I bought my Kettleman in September and have enjoyed using it - about 5- 6 times. However on the last use on 31 December I discovered that the vent handle has come off -not happy about this bad quality. on inspection also finding that the painting is peeling. I don't have the model number

Best charcoal kettle grill

I bought this a few months ago and I love it. I make the best burgers and chicken I have ever made. Always juicy and delicious. I also use it as a smoker and it works great. Ialso have a char- broil gas grill when I want something quick, but charcoal is my favorite.
I would recommend this to a friend!
