Works Great, easy to move around, we like the removable drop bin for the ashes. Makes great “Charred” food.

Best Charcoal Grill made

This grill is so versatile you wouldn’t believe it unless you buy one and try it. I have cooked pork butts, whole chickens, chicken, ribs, fish, all kinds of vegetables. I just can’t believe how this grill keeps a steady temperature setting. You can put a pork butt on it and it will cook it at an even 225 degrees for six hours with no problem. The best thing about this grill is that it uses a fraction of the charcoal that any other kettle grill out there will use. The engineering and airflow design of this grill is superior over any other type kettle grill out there.
NO FLARE UPS.
If you are a charcoal guy you need to get one of these. A very inexpensive investment for great cooking. Very easy cleanup after use with the latest ash pan out there. I Have had my Kettleman for 2 years now with probably at least 50 or more cooks and charcoal grate and grill grate are still in great shape.
Hope this review help you make up your mind.
Happy Grilling....

Multiple parts broken one year after purchase

The grill is great. It's easy to clean and cooks well. It would be a great product, except multiple parts have broken only one year after purchase. One of the ash catcher supports broke, and the top no longer latches securely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my Kettleman since the summer of 2018. Overall it is a pretty fine grill. I have used it for burgers, chicken breast, beer can chicken and even ribs. Low and slow takes some figuring out but it has worked out pretty well. While the think the tru-infrared grill grates are a good idea, they are IMPOSSIBLE clean despite using all manner of products. Plus I am on grates # because the first grill grates rusted. All in all its a good solid grill that gets the job done - just wish they'd improve the grates a bit.

Used it many times, always with lump charcoal and a chimney to light it. I find it hard to get it going with newspaper, so I use Fatwood Fire Starter sticks that I have leftover from wintertime and they work great (cut them up into short pieces). I never had such awesome grill marks on my burgers and steaks. Make sure to let the grill heat up about 10 minutes first before slapping down those yummy burgers (Buy good meat, not those frozen hockey pucks that shrink into blackened dry inedible junk).

Just completed my 10th grilling session and am very pleased. Excellent heat control and it requires a fraction of the charcoal my other grills do. Moreover, flare-ups are controlled thus allowing for a hassle free “cook” and great food outcome. The ergonomics and build quality are sound and clean-up is easier than most grills I have used.
I am impressed!

I have used the Kettleman charcoal grill twice. First I made burgers and hot dogs using the recommended amount of charcoal and following directions in instruction manual for this kind of food. They came out great! Nice grill marks, no flare ups and delicious. About two weeks later, I made a pork shoulder blade roast [boneless] following the instructions for smoking low and slow. I used my pork rub recipe and the charcoal lasted about 6 1/2 hrs. I did turn the roast several times and it came to 165 degrees F which was nice for slicing but not done enough for pulling. It got rave reviews from my family! So it’s a great grill so far but 22” cooking surface can be a bit small when cooking indirectly.
