I installed this lock myself. It was pretty easy to do on my own. I thought that it will be more complicated, but it was not. Took me about a total of 30 minutes, and that is with taking out my old lock and programming this new one to my Bluetooth. It has worked wonderfully, so far. Order it around Black Friday, I installed it a little later due to the holidays and everything going on. Also, I was afraid that the process will be complicated. But once I watched the video on their website about how to install, it was done in a jiffy! I did not need a lot of random tools, so that was a plus! The lock using three different fingers. The process was very easy. It locks every 30 seconds after the door has been unlocked. I appreciate that, my party guest the other night did not. So, I do have to remember to change the settings when I am having guests over that may be going in and out of the house. Other than that, I'm very excited about this log. I do have to get the Wi-Fi hub so that I can do things while I'm away. Such as send people codes. I thought that I could do that with the app without being near the lock, but it is not. So. You have to be within Bluetooth range of the lock in order to send anyone a code or add them to the system. That's inconvenient. It would be better if you can send them a code to their phone, and once they got with them Bluetooth range, with the access code they could just sign into your lock.

I bought this lock for my front door when I needed an upgrade. It was so easy to install and operated so well that I ended up buying a second one for my back door.

bought this lock couple months back and its been a champion at working when the kwickset on my back door doesnt work in the cold very well. im thinking i shoulda bought the wifi version,but i really just wanted another simple fingerprint deadbolt. Kwickset apparently wasnt the answer,so it looks like i'll be changing the doors they are used on most. seems to me this Lockly seems a bit more dependable than that other "well known" company. it really helps too that this lock setup by Lockly is very small versus the big deadbolt face on the door. the Kwikset is very large on both sides which actually make it less desirable. ive changed the Kwickset batteries 3 times since installing both different locks and i have yet to change the Lockly set.
