It has best of both worlds, a grill side and griddle on the other, easy to clean, easy to breakdown and transport, with wheels to boot!

It's put together

Easy enough to put together, quality is meh "wheels have play, lid locking clasps are cheap and lid hinges are slightly out of alignment,fit and finish is decent at best. We will see how it holds up as a portable tailgater.

Why make it so difficult?

I’m a long time Blackstone customer and have always loved your products. I won this tailgater in a raffle and I am seriously surprised at the difficulty level that this particular model (tailgater 1550) was so hard to put together from all the screws and bolts necessary to the twisted metal and misalignment of welds. I am actually disappointed. Now that it is together. I hope that the operation of the set up overcomes the initial build.

Seasoning it fully is somewhat time consuming G, but it works great afterwards. Recommend getting adapter for full size tank.

Control knob won’t stay when installing the grill

Great sturdy product!!!

I purchased the older version of this product a year or so ago. Had an unfortunate accident and lost half my load out of my truck heading up camping, including my backstroke griddle and grill box. They slid all over the freeway going 75 MPH. The bag got destroyed, and the grill box banged up a little bit, and the griddle got a little road rash, but they still work like a champ. Heat products from a great company!
I would recommend this to a friend!
