Better than the previous version

This version they fixed the issue of the breeze blowing the flame/ heat away. It sits much taller than the previous model. It is quite a bit heavier. Griddle now comes with an attached lid. I like the hydraulic leg lift! The handle to pull it shows you to use that area for holding a tray/ tools etc... but I wish it was collapsible, as space inside an rv is precious... it takes up much more floor space now.

We love to use our Tailgater camping. It makes perfect steaks on the grill while you cook onions and mushrooms on the griddle. And who doesn’t love bacon and eggs on the blackstone!

Bought this because of the two options , grill or griddle. Wasnt sure which Id like best. Find myself cooking more on the griddle, even stakes and chicken. Seems to keep the juice in.

Great for camping and tailgating

The griddle side is a little small for backyard barbecuing but great size for camping. It’s a little heavy for one person to load in the bed of the truck. Definitely a two person left to do it safely. Overall it’s good one for camping or tailgating because of it’s mobility and versatility.
