Brand new out of the box ignitor does not work!

Spent 2 hours assembling my Blackstone only to find out the ignitor does not work. Followed all the troubleshooting procedures including going to the store to buy new batteries. The first battery was new. It will light using a lighter. All wiring is connected. Ignitor does not work. No sparks.
