Not built for natural gas

Purchased this unit on Friday to replace my Legends unit and found out that the base plate of the unit has a hole in it to mount a propane tank. I purchased a natural gas unit not a propane unit. Si now I have to put a plate over the hole so no bugs or fury animals can enter from the bottom. This was not a problem with my previous gas Napolean grill.
Extremely not impressed with the design. I understand that you have to design for both types of fuels but there is no need for the hole when you purchase a natural gas version. Not only can creatures enter through this hole but all your storage tools fall through it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this grill about a week ago. I assembled it without any trouble, and I am a 65 year old woman! I couldn't wait to get grilling! After completing the initial burn off, I grilled two New York Strip steaks. I shared them with my neighbors, and they were in awe at the quality of the sear and the flavor of the steaks! Can't wait to grill some more!

Very happy with this purchase. This is a nice grill for anybody that has limited space. I really like the matte black colour, and is seems relatively easy to keep clean. I also purchased the smoker tray with it and absolutely love it!

Works great with plenty of features

I've only used this grill for a week or so and it performs well. Some features I haven't used yet such as the infrared burners but those will be used in the future. The grill cover fits perfectly and I'm going to order a rotisserie soon. I chose natural gas since when I recently built my home I designed it with natural gas lines throughout and an exterior line for a natural gas grill. Propane tanks running out during cooking isn't fun and the only solution is to have a spare tank around or weighing the tank before the cooking begins. The grill was organized well in the packaging and was protected as best as could be. It took me a little over an hour to assemble (about half of the time was spent removing items from the packaging and disposing of the cardboard, plastic, zip ties, etc.). This is a relatively new grill so Youtube assembly videos don't match up exactly as this grill needs to be assembled.

I have used grill about a dozen times and found it to more even heating from front to back across the grill. Burner valves have a wide range that provide more precise temperature control. I also have found it easy to clean and the fold down sides provide good storage flexibility.This grill has checked all my boxes of desire and I definitely recommend this grill.

Napoleon BBQ forever!

Bought my second Napoleon because I had no choice. The service was too good to look at anything else. Had a burner problem at or near 5 yr mark on a 5 yr warranty, one call and a new burner was on doorstep a day later. No questions asked. P.S. the new one is bigger and cooler (Rogue 545) Thanks again

Excellent product with the exception of the storage area beneath the grill. I ordered and received a unit for natural gas and received a floor panel with the huge hole for a propane container. Napoleon should offer or supply an aluminum insert to cover the floor and ship it with the unit.
