Suzanne, you can’t leave an iron cook top out on a patio, exposed to the elements and expect the iron not to rust. If you take care of your product, your Blackstone will take care of you.

I bought this for my husband’s birthday in the spring. We assembled and placed on our patio. Within a month, it was rusted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our new Grille

The welded tabs for securing the griddle to the back of the grille were clearly miss bent at the factory. This lead to a complete mis-alignment. Several hours of time were required to straighten the misaligned tabs and then to make compound angle bends to adequately align the griddle to the mounting locations on the back of the grille. Very poor quality control.
