Confused with reviews.

I am reading the reviews and I am confused...I bought this product and have had it for over a year, and think it is Awesome!! I hate to belittle anyone who left a bad review, but I think it may be user error.
- I found the assembly to be easy and it went together very well. The durable design is well engineered. If people are not reading the directions when putting it togeher, I could see some issues, which may be the case.
- It is incredibly durable, especially comparing it to other grills. We use it for camping and love the fold up legs, as it fits right in the bed of my truck. Even moving it around the campsite and in and out of the truck, I have had no issues with it breaking.
- Out of the box it is designed to use a small propane cylinder. Since this model is designed for RV camping, it also comes with a convenient hose attachment this hooks right in to our RV quick coupler gas lines. There is a hose attachment that can be purchased to have it work with a 20LB gas cylinder.
- Like any grill, it should be properly covered or stored. Otherwise the elements will get to it like any metal left outside. For a year I used a cheap grill cover, but this year for Christmas, I got
- The cast iron grill needs to be taken care. It needs to be seasoned initially and then seasoned on a regular basis. It also should be cleaned after each use. Cast iron will rust if not treated or left exposed to the elements. That is the nature of cast iron, not the grill itself.
- Overall I think it is a great product, and with proper care and use, will last for years. In fact this Christmas, my wife and inlays got me several accesories and a brand new Blackstone Pizza Oven! Put it together and fired up some awesome homemade pies for New Years.

22” On the go Blackstone grill

I bought the 22” grill on the go 7 months ago. And the pin broke for locking it in place. I have not seen a replacement. It was poorly designed. Like the grill part though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Totally new to grilling but this made it easy

I’m a widow and have never grilled before but love smash burgers. I bought one as a bday gift to myself. It was easy to assemble. Only problem was it wouldn’t light for some reason. My son in law figured out it was a pin inside in the wrong position. After that it fired up. My 17yr old son and I are figuring it out as we go, we are excited about all the new things we will be able to make. So far the burgers were awesome!

Extremely cheaply made.

I began to assemble my Blackstone and ran into multiple issues with misaligned holes and poorly welded pieces. The wheel on the rolling part sheared off while tightening with a screwdriver, so now I can no longer roll the wheel around. The provided screws are also extremely soft, and nearly all of them stripped with little effort, requiring me to extract them. I wikld never purchase a Blackstone product again!

Great grill for camping or the backyard!

We chose this grill for our camping trips. We love the fact that it folds up and is easy for transporting and storage. We nought yhe custom fit cover for it to protect it from scratches when folded up/transporting
We have discovered this is a great grill for the backyard too. Love that it folds up and can be used anywhere.
I have had zero problems folding and unfolding it. It's easy to cook on and clean up. Very pleased with this model.

Can’t get parts

OTG 22" Griddle with Flexfold Legs
Used twice and roller on flexfold legs broke free of rail. This takes need legs since roller bolt is welded on flexfold leg. Been waiting 5 months. They will not replace grill so I have something to use. They refused to replace and why I am waiting on these backorder legs. But, they can sell new ones and I’m still waiting on replacement flexfold legs! Terrible service and response to consumer!!!

Suzanne, you can’t leave an iron cook top out on a patio, exposed to the elements and expect the iron not to rust. If you take care of your product, your Blackstone will take care of you.
