Not as good as the older model

It's good and does the job but the older model has a closer gap between the burners and grill plate. This allowed for a hotter surface and you had more control for grilling. Now it takes longer to heat things through and you don't get the same searing effect in meats and veggies.

Great for the two of us

This 17” griddle is just right for the two of us. We can feed more, but this is not an everyday occurrence.
