This mattress is truly incredible! We have had such improved nights sleep since having it delivered. Delivery was easy and on time, the bed was fully ready within a half hour and we did not notice any smell which I know can be an issue. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new mattress.

I wanted to wait until I'd given the mattress an adequate try before giving a review. When I was looking for a mattress, there were several factors that were important to me: 1. I sleep warm, so I wanted a mattress that wouldn't cause me to overheat. 2. I wanted a mattress where I could get a comfortable night's sleep without waking up several times during the night. I woke up several times during the night with my old mattress because it was causing joint pain, and my hands to fall asleep. 3. I wanted a mattress that didn't smell like chemical solvents because I'm sensitive to strong odors. 3. I wanted a mattress with a transparent return policy in case I needed to return it. A friend recommended Tuft & Needle, and after reading the reviews, I decided to give the Mint a try. When the mattress arrived, I was surprised at how heavy and big it was. Once the mattress plastic was cut, it quickly and fully inflated, and filled up the bed frame with only about 1/2 an inch to spare on the sides. I was pleasantly surprised when there was no chemical odor after it was opened. After having slept on the mint for nearly 2 months, this is what I've found: For me, the mint is a firm mattress. I sleep on top of the mattress, and there are no discernable indentations. There's also hardly any bounce on the mattress when someone is sleeping next to you, which I appreciate it. Since the mattress is fairly heavy, it doesn't move around on my bed frame unlike my old mattress which I had to constantly reposition. Now, how do I sleep on the Mint? All through the night. When I wake up, I feel rested, and don't have joint pain or pins & needles in my hands or arms. I also find that for me, the heat wicking works. I haven't woken overheated at all. I've found this mattress to be very comfortable, and I'm pleased with my purchase. Why only 4 stars? If you sit on the very edge of this mattress, you'll slide off. I know Tuft & Needle has said improvements were made in this area, but I've had to change the way I sit so I can put on my socks without sliding off. I also can't speak yet for long term durability, but it seems to be a quality mattress.

After reading loads of reviews that were either five star or one star, I felt like I was either going to love this mattress or hate this mattress. It sleeps hot, even though it’s supposedly cooling. It’s very firm but, honestly, I’m super hesitant to buy the topper after the reviews. I keep hoping it’s going to soften a bit over time. It’s not horrible, but it’s not what I was hoping for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought my mint mattress after sleeping on a very firm, 14-year-old mattress. It took a couple of weeks for me to adjust to it, but it’s super comfortable now and I’m sleeping much better!

If I could go back and time and pull the trigger on this purchase sooner, I would. I've spent three long, painful, sleepless years on a decades-old, depressing mattress after breaking both femurs in a traumatic accident and dealing with PTSD symptoms afterwards. After much hesitation and pain, I decided to take a chance and invest in my health. I sincerely wish I had done so a long time ago.
Upon laying in my new bed for the first time, I felt an odd increase in pain compared to my old mattress. After about five minutes, I began to realize that this was just my body freaking out about actually having comfort and support for once and letting go of all that stress. Shortly thereafter, I ended up taking a nap to the tune of about eight hours - my first uninterrupted sleep since I was injured.
I have zero regrets about my purchase, and that comes from someone who hates spending money on themselves and who is on a fixed income. The only potential negative I can come up with is that it is just a tiny bit more firm than I would like, but I end up falling asleep near instantly anyway. To anyone hesitant on making the switch, I strongly recommend you take the leap and invest in your health. Your body will thank you in dividends
