I love to read at night before bed. I've been doing it since I was a child. But with this mattress that is just not possible! I lie down, get comfortable, and within a page or two my eyelids start sliding down. I used to read chapters every night. Since I got my new Mint mattress I haven't made it past one chapter!
Not only am I falling asleep faster, I'm no longer waking up when my wife comes to bed later. I may be getting the best sleep of my life right now, just from changing my mattress.

At 55, this was the first time I've bought a mattress without doing a "test-rest" at a brick and mortar store. I did a lot of research and read TOO many reviews. All 3 of us (7 if you count the cats) are THRILLED with our new Mint Mattress..so far we're enjoying great restful sleep! KUDOS on a wonderful product.

I got this mattress about a month ago so this is an early review. Most new mattresses are great at first but the real test is how they feel 1 year or 5 years later. My previous innerspring which was an expensive name-brand was fantastic for about 2 years and then started to sag.
I ordered the Mint version because it was supposed to be softer than the original. That's what I was looking for in comparing mattresses. I'm a side sleeper and firm mattresses cause aches and pains in my shoulders and hips because those are the contact points. I travel for business (pre-pandemic) and have slept on hundreds of hotel beds. The vast majority were too firm and I never would get a comfortable rest. Occasionally I would get a softer one in a Marriott or Westin but seems like hotels buy extra-firm mattresses.
So far the Mint is working out as advertised - not too soft, not too firm, supportive, and my aches and pain are decreased but not completely resolved. I'm not sinking in too deep and it's not hard to turn over or adjust positions. I can also read or watch TV comfortably propped up on my back.
My hope is that the mattress maintains its initial shape and support and doesn't sag. So while I recommend the Mint as one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever tried, that's only based on the first month of use.

This is the second Tuft & Needle mattress we've purchased, and we love them more than ever. We bought our first 5 years ago and the consistency of the product is fantastic. The quality has also improved--comfortable, supportive, and oh so easy to order and set up.

We’ve been sleeping on this mattress for about 2 months now and it is a lot firmer than we anticipated. We researched that the mattress needs a few weeks to “break-in” but my wife and I have been waking up with neck and back pain on a consistent basis. The motion transfer is very good on this mattress, though, so I am still giving a few stars. My wife kicks in her sleep a lot and I haven’t felt her kick once since we got this mattress, so I have been able to fall asleep much faster. We are going to try the topper to soften the mattress up, but if we keep waking with the pain then we are considering a return on this mattress.

This mattress has made a big difference in the pain level I was experiencing with my old mattress. It’s great for pressure point pain relief. Not to hard, not to soft!
