A little disappointed ... but not enough to return

I love Tuft & Needle - they have an exceptional business model, and I like giving them my business. I’ve purchased other T&N mattresses before, but this is the first I’ve purchased for myself. As a sleep experience, I admit I was disappointed. The mattress sleeps a little too hot (something I thought wouldn’t be an issue with the Mint Mattress). It’s also a bit too soft for my comfort. That said, neither is enough of a concern to return the mattress. I should also say that my husband is entirely happy with it. For the right person, this is a good mattress at great price. There’s nothing to lose by trying it out. You can rest easy knowing you’ll be supporting an exciting up-and-coming company, and who knows? You may be in the apparent majority of folks who thinks this is the most comfortable mattress ever. One final observation: I noticed the invitation to submit a review didn’t arrive in my inbox until the end of the 90-day trial period. Assuming those who return the mattress are not invited to post a review (and I don’t know if this the case) then the overall reviews will be significantly canted in favor of those who’ve had a positive experience. A more accurate approach would invite reviews from ALL purchasers @ 30 days after purchase.

The company was great to deal with but I’m not as happy with the mattress as I hoped I would be. It sinks more around the edges than I like, just lacks sturdiness to me.
Other than that it is pretty soft and comfortable.

We love the mint mattress. This is our second mint mattress king purchase. We are FL snowbirds and we bought our first one for that house. We decided that we needed one for our CT house. We also have 2 on the twin beds we bought for the FL house.

My husband and I have been searching for a bed that we can both sleep on for quite some time now. He needs soft and I need hard and we did not like the sleep number option. We were hoping the mint would work. It was great for me but to hard for him. With the topper it was perfect. It gives the firm underneath while providing a soft top that is not so soft that I can't handle it. It's wonderful!
