I thought based on the other reviews that the mattress would soften after a bit but it has not and I've had back pain for a couple of months now. I pulled the mattress pad off of our old mattress and put that on top to help soften it up

We slept on a Tuft and Needle mattress for a week while visiting a family member and found it to be a true pleasure! Little did we know we would be moving within a few months time and need new mattresses. There was no hesitation on our part as to the brand: Tuft & Needle. It arrived folded into that impossibly small box, but we followed directions and watched it expand onto our king frame. We gave it a few days to air out but never really noticed any strong smell. It is a delight to sleep on: cool or warm, firm and supportive. I usually toss and turn but find that now I do not. It was simply the easiest experience we've ever had buying a mattress, no more trying out this mattress or that one or comparing prices. Would recommend Tuft & Needle over and over again!
