We loved our regular Tuft and Needle we got back in 2014. Since it was time for a new mattress we decided to try the Mint mattress. My husband sweats a lot at night so he is so thankful for the cooling feature on this bed. These are the best beds ever!

Let's start with the negatives...
*This mattress is a lot smaller than expected. It looks too small on our bed frame compared to our old traditional mattresses. There is a good 6" space between the end of this mattress and the foot board. It's annoying because our cats use this space to access the space under our bed
*The mattress is very hot. It doesn't seem to disperse heat any better than cheap memory foam mattresses. Don't believe Tuft & Needle's claims. This is probably the most disappointing thing about the mattress.
*We've had the mattress for one month and it's already getting indentions from where we sleep. This doesn't bode well for its durability.
Now for the positives...
*It's very comfortable. It's firm enough for my bad back but soft enough that I can sleep for hours on my side without my IT-band being on fire. I have herniated discs and pinched nerves, so the comfort factor is a huge plus.
*Shipping was fast and convenient. We ordered the week of Christmas and got it before New Year's. Getting a boxed memory foam mattress into the bedroom and set up is a lot easier than a traditional mattress.

Love it. Initially bought this because it’s been compared to the tempurpedic luxe adapt mattress, but couldn’t afford the 5K price tag. It’s pretty dagum close.
For those that like a softer feel, definitely get the topper with it. My experience: bought just the mattress. Wife that prefers firmer beds liked it, wouldn’t say it’s super comfy because she never wants to say I helped her at all (eye roll).
However, I like softer beds, but loved the feel and support this one had. It’s just when I’d sleep on my side, my shoulders would hurt. This is why I bought the T&N topper a few weeks later. That made just enough difference where I was comfortable and my wife was still comfortable. Thanks T&N!

This is our second Tuft & Needle Mint mattress. The first one we put in our RV trailer. The second one we purchased was for our daughter for the guest bedroom in her home. We wanted a comfortable bed for when we stayed for short visits! Sleeping on either your side or back is very comfortable on this mattress. I would recommend having a mattress pad that is designed to promote cooler sleep experience.

The mattress came in a timely manner and was easy to set up. It is comfortable. I was looking for a mattress that minimizes motion transfer, (my husband is a restless sleeper). I did my research and the Mint Mattress was supposed to be the answer. (It got high marks from Consumer Reports) I am a little disappointed. I can detect his movement more than I expected. It is better than our old Sealy spring mattress so I will keep it, but if this is an important factor in your mattress selection you may want to try something else.
