This is a firm but very comfortable mattress, especially for side sleepers. It offers great support and fits my deep sheets perfectly. It doesn't move much which is idea for co-sleeping. This arrived quickly, was easy to roll out and after a month, I am sleeping sound. Customer service when I called about warranty questions was met with a live person who was friendly, informative and very helpful.
Absolutely love the new T&N Mint. We had the original version previously and have slept comfortably on it for 5 or 6 years now. We recently re-did one of our guest bedrooms and moved the original T&N into it, so we could get something new for our master bedroom. After lots of discussion and reading online reviews, we decided to stick with what we know T&N and we are so glad we did. I have been sleeping SO well ever since we got it! I also recently convinced my parents to buy two T&N mattresses based off our rave reviews.
Great Mattress... But... there's no support on the edges. What they have is a bunch of foam that is soft and comfortable in the middle. However, you need to stay at least 8' - 10' away from the edge as it'll collapse on you and potentially drop you out of bed. This is how it's designed. Not on purpose... but the fact that there's not supporting element on the edges means when the foam stops, the support stops. So, don't sit on the edge... it won't hold you unless you're way back on the mattress.
I have purchased several T&N mattresses as well as the Mint mattress from T&N for my condo in Mexico. All the guests love them! So, I got rid of my 7 year old Tempur-pedic LuxeAdapt King mattress back here in the states and purchased a T&N Mint King. Might have been a mistake. The Mattress itself is just as nice as the Temper-pedic... if not slightly nicer. Unsure as the T&N is new... compared to a 7 year old mattress. Will take a few years to truly determine if it's better or not. But where the T&N fails miserably is the edge support. There's simply nothing there to provide support. My Temper-pedic had amazing edge support... just like a mattress should. T&N Mint does not. Shame... you'd think T&N would have designed something. Instead, it's a sheet of foam.
Would I purchase again? Probably not because of this reason. Would I recommend? Maybe... but there would certainly be a warning about T&N non-supporting edges.
Replacement for ~10 year old, cheaper mattress. Old matress had the 'dip' in the middle and was giving hip, shoulder, and back aches and pains. Now most morning waking up pain free. Also the Mint fit my antique bed frame, which is shorter than standard.
This mattress is okay. It is very firm and a little uncomfortable for side sleepers. I do like the removable cover. It arrived quickly after ordering and was difficult but doable for one person to set up.
