Since we make our mattresses with freshly poured foam, it can take a couple of weeks for the mattress to acclimate to its new home, and you to it. If it feels too firm, adding a topper can be an easy and effective solution to help you sleep your best. My husband loves the mattress (5'8" and about 180 lbs) but I find it too firm (5'8" and 130 lbs). Not sure if our weight is a factor but I used the tool to find out what mattress would best fit us and this is what it came up with. After about an hour or two, i have to go into the other bedroom.

Super comfortable and super easy to set up! It feels supportive and just soft enough at the same time. And this is coming from someone who's lived with chronic pain that made it difficult for me to sleep--plus I'm so sensitive to chemical offgassing from newly manufactured items that I've gotten very sick from new air mattresses and heat pumps. I let this mattress air out for about 1 week and the smell was minimal.
