Love the extra layer of padding and that this one in more breathable. Before getting the king, Mint mattress we had a queen in the original for several years. We always had a foam mattress topper on it cause it just needed a little more padding. The mint is the perfect balance!!

The support both on the mattress and on the edge is great. There was very little smell and it was gone in a couple of days.
