We love this bed. (King) I would say it’s on the firmer side of these kinds of beds. It offers support and isn’t mooshy yet still feels soft. You’ll need sheets with deep pockets. Our son has the original T&N mattress, also a great bed but I’m glad we opted for this one for the master bedroom.
After so many hours and days spent researching and two phone calls to Tuft & Needle customer service, I went for the Mint King size. It’a delicious bed and I immediately noticed pain free sleep fir the first time in years! We got this bed bc we cosleep with our 10month old daughter. My partner is a side sleeper and he’s sleeping happily every night. Im a back and side sleeper and still nursing, so the extra support at the edges is very helpful. Only 4 stars bc it’s not as firm as Id like it which makes me think I shouldve gone for the Original. Overall, a great bed.
Lucky enough to live near an actual brick and mortar store. Made an appointment and tried out the mattresses and so glad we did. Fell in love with the mint and so happy with our purchase. Took a few nights to get used to the change from our last bed but my fiancé and I love it. The king is plenty of room for us and our little terrier. Super happy.
So...I have slept on the mattress a couple of months now before posting this review to try and give it a fair review. My conclusion is that I really like it. Even from the first day I felt like it was going to work out fine. I sleep well on it and feel good in the morning. No aches or pains caused from pressure spots in the mattress. As far as firmness goes and heat issues you might encounter both with this mattress. If you look at the 3 star reviews you will find that about 50% say its too hard...and 50% say its too soft. So what is to be believed? I found it to be a comfortable firmness. That said, it should be noted that memory mattress's tend to be firm as a rule...its just the way the foam is. I would say this one is less firm than your average. The heat issue is also something that comes with every memory foam mattress. Memory foam traps heat and this one does to. Yes, they claim that the outer layer dissipates the heat somewhat and maybe it does...but you will feel it. I don't find it to be uncomfortable. There maybe some very expensive mattress's out there that handle it better...this one is not one of those, but for the price it is just fine. While I don't feel uncomfortable due to the trapped heat...just know that there will be some. For its comfort and quality Vs its price point it deserves 5 stars.
I was worried that a foam mattress wouldn't work for myself (side sleeper) and my husband (stomach sleeper) but the Mint has been great! Super comfy and supportive and my husband who usually sleeps hot has no temperature issues. We tried the Purple Hybrid before this and it was too firm for me but the T&N Mint suits us both well!
