Super comfy and puffed up very quickly when we unwrapped it. The darker color shows through lighter colored sheets a bit but that doesn't both me too much. The density of the mattress is perfect for my husband and I because I prefer a firmer mattress and he a softer one and the Mint simply supports you body is way that the firmness is almost indeterminable. Highly recommend!

I know that firmness is subjective, but my opinion is that this mattress is too firm. While laying on my back, or side, it feels as though my torso and shoulders are higher up than my pillow which makes my head & neck unsupported by my pillow. Like my head has to drop back further than normal to reach my pillow. So I started using a second pillow under my regular pillow to give it a little lift, to line up with my body. This has only led to daily pain and stiffness in my neck and shoulders. I’ve never been so regularly uncomfortable from a mattress (besides maybe a sofa bed, but who sleeps on those anymore?)
I’m going to try purchasing a soft mattress topper before trying to return or exchange this mattress for another model. If the mattress topper doesn’t work, I’m going to try the hybrid next - even though the hybrid is categorized as a firmer mattress than the Mint, I think the coils and construction of the hybrid will be closer to what I’m used to (a standard spring pillow top mattress) and won’t be so different & uncomfortable for me.
I’m going to try purchasing a soft mattress topper before trying to return or exchange this mattress for another model.
