First of all the mattress is very heavy! So far so good, love the firmness of the mattress. My partner and I were having huge problems with back pain and the first night we slept on mint we noticed the difference. I will update my review again in a few weeks.

I have been through 6 mattresses in the last 5 years. My familiy teases me and then places bets on how long it will be before I repalce the existing matress with a new "contender". I just gave what Consumer Reports says as their #1 rated matress to my wifes mother, she likes it because it is so firm. However I disliked the matress because it hurt my arthritic shoulders (I am primarily a side sleeper and sometimes back sleeper). The Mint Matress is perfect.......I can sleep on my side all night and wake up and not have any pain in my legs and/or shoulders. OMG whats with that????I am so happy!!! BTW I am still trying to figure out the "perfect pillow" to go with the mattress .....but right now I am so glad that I bought the Mint Mattress. As an aside prior to buying the mattress I talked with one of Tuft & Needle sleep consultants and his description of the mattresses firmness was right on!!! If you like a medium mattress with good support and shoulder protection buy the Tuft & Needle Mint mattress
