I tried to like these pillows but they’re just not for me because of not enough neck support and going flat too soon. I would definitely not recommend these for side or back sleepers. They are made of nice materials though and the fact that they come in pairs is a plus, but they are just not comfortable enough.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I finally found a pillow that is soft but supportive, fits all my sleeping positions, is lightweight, and keeps its shape! Made very well. This pillow will be around for a long time!

Super comfy for the first few weeks but then they start to lose their shape. They would be great for a guest room where they aren’t used every night but for everyday pillows they could have better longevity. We’ve had them less than two months.
