I purchased the Tuft and Needle mattress pad because I thought it would perform and fit better than others designed to fit a range of mattress sizes. I am highly disappointed. !) the sides of the pad are plastic-like; 2) the main part that covers the top of the mattress is quite thin; 3) it wrinkles horribly so that when making the bed there are lumps and bumps across the whole top that have to be smoothed out. I expected better from this company. Furthermore, I don't need a "waterproof" protective pad. .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This mattress cover is great — so soft and not plastic-y! We have dogs and cats and they occasionally have an accident on our bed so a waterproof cover is a necessity. We have two of them!!!
