Didn't fix the problem with the Original mattress.

The "Original" mattress I purchased was far too firm. Left me with joint pain in the morning. The "topper" was supposed to be the answer. It improved the situation some, but I have never gotten a good night's sleep on it either. Also moves around some.. doesn't stay in place too well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A topper should be thick and soft. We had to buy an additional topper for the topper

The topper is well made and comfortable. The issue with the topper is that it slides off the mattress.

We have a 19 year old Sealy Posturepedic Mattress. It is well made, unlike today’s mattresses. However, as I’ve gotten older, the firmness is a bit much on my hips and shoulders now. So after reading a review of a lower quality mattress topper mentioning they wished they had bought the Tuft and Needle, I was curious. I ended up trying Tuft and Needle and it has relieved the pressure on my hips and shoulders without making the sleeping surface too mushy and soft. Love it so far.

I like the mattress just fine, my husband said it was too firm, so we purchased the topper. It’s ok but it slides all over and we have to readjust it every night.

It's extremely comfortable, super squish and soft, we love that. The downsides are that it does not stay in place well at all, I have to slide it back in place every week. Also, it made the bed way warmer, and we live in Arizona so in the summer it's less appreciated. Overall a good topper though!
