The foam is comfortable but the pillow is too thick for anything other than side sleeping. When I try to sleep on my back, it feels like my neck is at an almost 90 degree angle. Since I don’t sleep on my side all night, I use the pillow as a reading pillow and then remove it from the bed when it’s time to sleep. That wasn’t really what I imagined.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
