The 5 inch thickness and firmness of the pillow made it too high and uncomfortable for my husband and I. We both experienced neck and shoulder stiffness/pain, and returned the pillows within two weeks of use. All this being said, the coolness of the pillows was very nice, and the materials are very high quality; I'm sure this pillow would be wonderful for someone else!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its a great pillow overall the only problem with it is the thickness of it. It’s not thin enough to realistically be a layering pillow without hurting your neck and it’s not quite thick enough to be a standalone pillow for your nightly slumbers.
