Sides are soft. Mattress needs to be turned a lot as it settles down and doesn't spring back to form as it should.

The pillow feels great - good size, comfortable give, not too heavy. My only complaint is that it's a little short - as someone who's more of a stomach sleeper, I've noticed a bit of neck soreness compared to when I sleep on my back/side.

I'm considering returning it - it's a bit too tall. I sleep on my stomach and side, never on my back. That props my head and neck up too much I think. But it may work for someone who sleeps differently.
