A revelation in lawn mowing!

This is my first electric mower and first zero turn. I have mowed my 3/4 acre lawn twice and still have 40% battery charge left. I have very thick grass in my back yard and this thing cuts through it with ease. The steering was a bit touchy in the beginning but after two mows I've got the feel - it's quite responsive. The only complaint I have is that I can only charge two batteries (one dual charger) at a time as more than that trips the 15 amp breaker on that circuit. Not a big problem given 4-5 days between mows and 3 mows between charges. Can't speak to dependability yet, but the mower feels quite solid. Loving guilt free mowing!

Love the mower

Very quiet I've used it every week. It does an excellent job on the lower blade speed. Hills are not a problem. The only thing I would suggest is that it should have some sort of brake as I turned the key off when I was on a slope and the mower took off with no way to stop or steer.

My best lawn investment

We have a 2 acre lot and I’ve used the mower not only for mowing, but also as a mini-tractor pulling my dump cart and pull-behind yard rake. I love the convenience of instant on and off, the quietness, and the fact I have no oil or gas smelling up my garage. The mower has plenty of power to do all I need and the batteries last long enough to get the job done.

I have never used a zero turn mower before but this one was easy to use and beginner friendly. I have cut a 1 acre lot twice with 4 batteries without any problems. I am glad I made this purchase.

Loved the Mower But Only Ran a Year

I loved this mower but after a year of light use, the right blade motor (according to code) started overheating and shutting down the blades. Tractor supply no longer sells or services the mower (although it is still listed as a dealer on the Greenworks website. I checked all the authorized Greenworks repair facilities as far as 70 miles away and none of them services this product. None of the independent repair shops service Greenworks, either. Because the problem started one year and two days after purchase the Greenworks does not guarantee the product. One year of service for this mower is a terrible deal.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
