Quiet and plenty of power

I have used my Greenworks mower 4 times and am very pleased with its performance. I have about 1/2 acre to mow and am able to complete the lawn without having to recharge. I especially like how quiet it is.

The zero turn I've been waiting for

I love it. Electric ZT mowers have been around for a some years but all lacked key features for my use. This one ticks all of my boxes; removeable batteries, common batteries to other equipment, modern battery technology & a great warranty.
My property is 1.5 acres -- 2/3 of which is forest -- hence the tractor. The rest is lawn with some slopes and a few rough areas.
This PRO 80V crossover is a great fit for my use. I mow on the low setting for both ground speed and blade speed. After mowing, the mower shows 66% or better charge remaining. While my neighbors wrench on their gassers, I'm on and off of my mower in under an hour. No noise, no mess and no stink. The only shortcoming for me was the manual/documentation which has some gaps in maintenance and lacks details specific to this model. QR codes to the online manual also didn't work. Regardless, I'm super pleased with the mower. After using the mower for a while I also bought the chainsaw.

No Gas or oil for engine, no exhaust, no noise!

We bought this last year and have been using it to mow grass low and high without any effort. We have a lot to mow around which makes having the zero turn action a breeze. If you are worried about enough mow time for you, the batteries recharge very quickly!
I would strongly recommend it. Just hop on and go! A new way to mow.
The rear hitch is a little higher than old yard mowers for towing equipment if you have some legacy things like lawn sweeper or lawn cart. Also the freewheel switches (two) are a little hard to work and access but I never need them because there is no exhaust getting into garage when I pull it in!
It would be nice to have 12volt aux. power out or even an invertor option for that voltage.
I would strongly recommend it. Just hop on and go! A new way to mow.

Really enjoying the mower so far. Wish it had a string trimmer attachment, kinda like the Roomba vacuum edge brush, to get just that much closer to tree trunks, etc.

Gas never again

Purchased 3 months ago and couldn’t be better. No smell, loud noise or warming up period. I’ve mowed 3 acres on a full charge. I have additional batteries so I’m always ready to go immediately since the batteries charge within the hour.

Very good mower

I have used this for about 1 year and have no complaints. It cuts well and the batteries last for 1.5-3 acres depending on how much the grass has grown. I've also used this to tow some logs/firewood and had no problems. The rapid chargers are fast enough to fully charge a set of 6 batteries in the time that it takes me to deplete a second set of 6 batteries. It is very quiet and convenient to turn on/operate.

Fast, quiet and comfortable

The quality of the cut is amazing and I love the zero turn capability. The turning handles is a bit sensitive but doesn't affect the overall cutting experience. I have an incline hill in the backyard and this mower has no issue to drive up and down with even cut. I like the push buttons for blade speed and driving speed control because I can make the mowing selections swiftly. The run time of the battery is great, with less than a half acre, I usually have 60% to spare with low blade and driving speed.
A couple of negative points with this mower:
1. Quality: The blade stopped working toward the end of the first cut and I was surprised to see it happened to an new mower. I called customer support with fault code and found out I need to replace right blade controller module. I received the part from Greenworks within 3 days and installation was effortless.
2. Charging: Not able to charge all 6 batteries concurrently. Circuit breaker trips if you do.
I have a mixed feeling with the mower initially, but I started enjoying it. I own a battery powered dual motor Greenworks push mower and I used to mow and bag it each time, sometimes I have to wait for additional battery to be re-charged again and finish the mow when grass is too tall. The benefit of owing a riding mower is tremendous in my case. I was able to finish the cut less than 35 minutes without bagging comparing to ~2 hours with push mower, and the cut is even. My push mower always leave a trail of mohawk when grass is taller.
Final thought: this mower is fast with smooth cut and I would recommend it.
