First time with ride on mower. Being elderly (76) could not walk behind self powered any more. This is fun and easy to use.

Purchased my mower last fall, and I love it. Mower is quiet and has plenty of power. Blades seem to spin fast enough for a clean cut, and I'm thrilled with the speed I can cut with. While I love to mow, this thing has been super handy for hauling and moving things around. It does an excellent job pulling my lawn trailer. Also regularly pull around tree branches or yard debris. I love it and recommend it to everyone.
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our Greenworks CRT306 Riding mower 3 months ago and greatly appreciate the time saving (pardon the pun, but we cut our grass cutting in half) and the reduction of our physical energy required to cut grass every week in the sunshine state.

A working horse for cutting acres grass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this mower a year ago, had 48 hour on and cut total 44 acres according the app so far. Just changed the gear oil yesterday. Overall this pretty good like a working horse.
The oil change is not very hard but also not very easy. The bolts are 12mm but are not mentioned in the manual. The torque 6-10 ft-lb may not be applicable, I'm afraid it could overturn and break the thread. I was thinking of extracting the used oil out of the gearbox, but the open is too small to do it. The small opening is also very hard to add new oil. I have to use an injector to push it in.
To clean the deposits of wet grass on the mower shell is kind of difficult to do. I'm not sure if it's easy to take the bottom unit off the tractor then to clean it if needed. It could be easier to sharpen the blades or to replace it if I can take it down.
I used to rent a tractor mower to cut the grass before the fire season per local goverment requirement. Now I can control the grass with this CRT426.

I thought this would an answer to prayer after owning gas mowers for over 60 years. Shortly after I receive this mower it 2022 it started giving a MR23 code. This means the right mower is overheating. I contacted Greenworks and they were great and sent out a new motor. It was late fall so when the motor arrived I put it on the shelf for install in the spring of 2023. Installed it and it did not work. So I put the old motor back and mowed. The mower would mow about 3/4 of my 1.5 acre and throw codes. I let it coold and kept going. When I contacted Greenworks they said they changed there policy and no longer send out parts and I was required to take it to an authorized repair shop, 60 miles away. This was peak season and I knew it meant taking it there, on a trailer. Dropping it off and likely waiting a few weeks to get it back. So I suffered through the summer and figured I would do it in the fall. In the mean time I looked at the motor they had sent and found a teminal that was not fully seated in the connector. I fixed the terminal and reintalled the motor. Everything worked. So for nearly a year I have been a happy camper. Then about a month ago it started throwing the same code along with ML23. I am fed up with constant shutting down of the mower. It now only mows half my front yard, about a normal yard size and I have to let it cool down. Never buying Greenworks again.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet

Hello Jim 197052. Thank you for sharing your concerns. We are sorry to hear about your experience with the 80V Riding Mower. An MR23 code indicates the right blade motor has overheated, which shuts off the blades to protect the system. Allowing the mower to cool, clearing debris from the deck, checking fully charged batteries, or adjusting mowing speed and height often resolves the issue. If the code continues, a dealer can run a diagnostic to determine the cause. We understand that taking the mower to a repair shop may not be ideal, and we apologize for any inconvenience this causes. We hope the dealer can get it fixed quickly and provide a clear explanation so you feel confident in the repair. If there is anything else, we can do for you please let us know or give us a call. 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS).
