Great Mower CRT426

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was greatly impressed after using the mower the first time. I mowed a 2 acre lot and still had 45% of the battery remaining. The mower had excellent power despite heavy grass. The mower turns in a tight radius making it easy to cut around trees. I like the safety element of the way the mower blades shut off automatically if I get up out of the seat. The turbo chargers shut off automatically when the batteries are full charged.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought the same motor with six batteries.. had it for one year. Works great no issue so far. I love not having to buy gas and oil anymore.. And my neighbors don't even know when I cut my grass because it's so quiet.
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable

A working horse for cutting acres grass.

Just changed the gear oil yesterday.

The oil change is not very hard but also not very easy. The bolts are 12mm but are not mentioned in the manual. The torque 6-10 ft-lb may not be applicable, I'm afraid it could overturn and break the thread.
I was thinking of extracting the used oil out of the gearbox, but the open is too small to do it. The small opening is also very hard to add new oil. I have to use an injector to push it in.

To clean the deposits of wet grass on the mower shell is kind of difficult to do. I'm not sure if it's easy to take the bottom unit off the tractor then to clean it if needed. It could be easier to sharpen the blades or to replace it if I can take it down.
I used to rent a tractor mower to cut the grass before the fire season per local goverment requirement. Now I can control the grass with this CRT426.

So much FUN!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just over half an acre, and it was too much to mow by hand. I adore greenworks’ products, and intensely dislike filling gas cans and yanking chains. Also, maintenance is a pain for gas thingies. This was a no-brainer. The 42” fit perfectly in a shed with a 48” door opening.
I was unprepared for the steering arms, and nearly ran over my brother. While I do have another brother, my mother would have been furious. I think that I would have been much better at driving this had I ever played video games. Happily, I have gotten MUCH better at steering. This mower does a fabulous job! It mowed nearly foot-high grass like a champ. The zero-turn feature is fabulous! I now love mowing the grass. It is finally tamed, and it doesn’t look like a carelessly abandoned property anymore.
