Like the sleek design. The buttons take some getting used to due to the fact of its delay with pressing the button.

Unit Controls Difficult to Use.

The usability of this cooktop is a radical step down from previous GE cooktops. The temperature controls on very difficult to see at high heat settings and impossible to see at low heat settings. Etchings on the heat controls are barely visible and the LED lights indicating heat setting are terrible. If there is vent hood light on over the cooktop the controls are impossible to see. The built in timer function is worthless because the timer values and the time controls are nearly invisible. I asked the installer if the LED lights could be made brighter, and he said no.

Fantastic, but Vulnerable

Appearance and heating functions are fantastic, but the Glass is very vulnerable to cracking or chipping. This is my 4th G E Profile, Touch Control cooktop as over 15 years, 1 had glass replaced under warranty, 1 had glass replaced after warranty, the newest unit a d one other were purchased as new replacement units. Outstanding product, but not sure it is a durable product for someone who cooks numerous times a day.

Not only is the GE Profile cooktop nice looking, it is much easier to adjust the cooking temperature than our older model that we needed to replace. Install was very easy and straight forward.

Just ok

Not as good as my older ge profile cooktop. Harder to clean. The double burner takes forever to heat up. Just not loving it unfortunately.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
