We had a GE Profile Induction cook top that was 17 years old and a couple of the units had a fail code of E6. The parts were no longer made so we could have it repaired. We ordered a NEW GE Profile Induction cook top and are happy with the style upgrades and the one button turns all off at the same time. Another feature we have not fully investigated is the remote use with the phone app. Seems great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We truly appreciate your loyalty to GE Appliances; we’re happy to hear you got so many years of service from your previous cooktop, and we’re excited for you to get to know your new model. We really love the precision temperature controls, and it’s easy to stay connected to your cooking thanks to our incredible SmartHQ app.
Had GE induction cooktop in last home. Now installed one in this home as i believe induction cooking is the way to go. However, I think that the burner controls could be made more visible.
we like the cleanliness and quick heat along with the lower cost of use. This unit was a replacement for the original one that had a bad burner upon installation. It's only a couple of months old but has performed well. The 5 burners are a nice feature.
Beautiful product. Easy to clean as long as you have the right cleaning agent and towel. I love how it heats up very quickly and cools down quickly as well. The design is intuitive as well, which makes learning easy. Highly recommend.
My induction cooktop just got installed today. It is replacing a GE electric radiant heat cooktop. I like the clean look of the cooktop and I’m excited about trying out induction cooking.
