Great cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 15 year old electric cooktop stopped working. Looking at what was available we picked up this induction cooktop. First time using one and we love it. It cooks amazingly well, and has all the feature we love. Bridged element, auto-shutoff, and a timer.

Not working after 3 months

I just had a kitchen renovation and went with this cooktop. I have loved the ease of use and it's functionality. However, after owning it for less than 3 months, it won't turn on. Hoping it's nothing major. I have purchased all GE products in the last year...double oven, microwave and 2 fridges. Hoping they last longer than this one.

We recommend disconnecting the appliance from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting, to reset it. Touch controls aren't sensitive enough and if any smear they only work with +and -

We'd like to assist with the responsiveness of your cooktop controls. It's extremely make sure the control interface is clean and free of liquid. An unclean or wet control interface would effect the responsiveness to your touch.
