The cooktop works great, I have no problem at all. I had a GE profile Induction range in my other home and it had a small radiant burner for warming which I miss with this model. I also find the volume of the timer alert to be very low and can’t be heard when the cooktop fan is running.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No need for wifi smart bluetooth apliance

Easy to use .do wish it had the stainless steel wrapped on ALL 4 side. If it had that I'd say it would be a 5 star . We don't use the wifi , on a stove that's a little much .my opion ,there's no need for it ..

Love, Love, Love!

After having my first gas stove at my previous home I knew I never wanted another one. I've always preferred GE appliances though I haven't had one in a while. When we were shopping for appliances for our new home the Cafe line caught my eye and I knew it's what I want in my kitchen. This cooktop is large and easy to use. If you download the app you it will remind you if your stove is on. When you remove a pan, after a few minutes it will turn itself off. This is a great feature for those of us who tend to get too busy and forget! It's super easy to clean, boils water is seconds, there is nothing I do not love about this cooktop and all my Cafe appliances!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the 3rd induction cooktop we have owned- the first GE and it does not heat up asquick as my previous ones. Water takes a lot longer to boil and is like a regular cooktop not an induction cooktop.

The pans will get as hot as you would like them to, as you set the heat for the burner. They heat quicker than a normal radiant cooktop, but induction doesn't get any hotter. It will also depend on the material and size of the pan how fast they heat up and how long they will remain hot when removed from the element. We recommend choosing cookware made of magnetic stainless steel, enamel-coated cast iron, enameled steel, and combinations of these materials. Just installed our new Induction cooktop. It looks beautiful in our kitchen. Have boiled water on it so far and it was very quick. Easy to use. Could not be happier!
