Frustrating install

The instructions were vague. Some things are a bit cheap (screws, pad strip). The counter overlap could be more. The app setup was confusing and not properly tested. Frustrating.

Great Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have never had an INDUCTION Cooktop before and are getting used to it day by day! So far, we LOVE IT. You have the exact heat you want when you set it at the desired heat!!

The cooktop does exactly what we thought it would. The cooling fans are quiet, which is very pleasing. Pressure cooker is easy, where with gas it was tricky. Even heat to the griddle spanning two burners is yet to be fully sorted. Terrific to have the option to use Plus/Minus or touching the Dial to set the heat. Cleaning is easy, since the surface never gets very hot. However, cleaning is nearly constant because anything and everything shows. The biggest adjustment is to the changed nature of the cooking. No more instant drama and heat from a high flame. No more leaning down to peek at how low the simmer is. “Trusting the Instruments” will take some time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hard to clean leaves streaks

Love it except can't clean it without streaks. They really show up with lights on. Had another brand be this very easy to clean but didn't cook even. You two should get together and have a 5 star.

The induction assembly and induction control tray have both gone out 2 times in less than 1.5 years. The parts are over 1000 dollars. The first time it went out the stovetop was under warranty as it happened months into using it. Now, a half year after it was "fixed" last the same parts are in need of replacing. I can only guess that there is something else going on with this item or it is horribly built.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks nice . Just haven't been able to use it .

I haven't used the stove yet . Can't figure out how to get it to turn on correctly n stay on . We purchased a home that had this cook top . We are still figuring out things since this is a scond home. Not sure that we will use it much and may take it out n buy another kind that isn't blue tooth .

Troubleshooting tips are also available starting on page 21. If the cooktop is turning off after you’ve turned it on, we recommend disconnecting the appliance from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting, to reset it.
While this cooktop has built-in WiFi that adds convenience to the cooking experience, the main functions of the cooktop are not dependent on a WiFi connection.
