I used my pans on another person's cooktop before I bought this to make sure my pans will work. I was not able to use all of my pans on this top. My back burner will not stay on unless I have the front burner on first. I don't have a pan large enough to even use the huge burner. My biggest pan is too small for the big burner and too large for the smaller burner. So I cant even use half of my stove top

A bit to get used to

I have not cooked on it that much to be able to give it a rating. It's taken a bit to get used to it. I would tell anybody that's thinking of buying an induction cooktop or range to make sure that their pots are compatible. You can test them by applying a magnet the bottom of the pot if the magnet sticks then it should work. I haven't cooked a full meal on it yet. I'm typically not an electric stove fan. I like gas. However I do like the fact that I can adjust the temperature on this degree by degree. The very second you take it off the burner spot the pot stops boiling completely. So they should wait 6 months before they send out these surveys. I have no idea what my electric bill is going to be. That's going to be a big factor in me revising my rating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Difficult to set up to wifi

We were able to easily install but had difficulty in getting it to set up with WiFi or Bluetooth

It'll take awhile to get adjusted to induction cooking. It would be nice to have a cookbook utilizing induction cooking. I'd absolutely recommend this stovetop to everyone!!!

So easy to use

So far I'm loving this! The bridge element works great!! This is so easy to use, i think everyone should own one. I looked at a lot of reviews of different brands before i selected GE. I made the right choice!

Disappointing can’t find the right pans to use

Disappointing. Three burners work with new pans bought. Small back burner whistles unless I use a cast iron pan. Technician came out and said can’t do anything about it. Will be looking to return since stove top is 6 months old
