Awesome cooktop!

I finally pulled the trigger and changed over to induction cooking. My new GE Profile boils water so fast! It is so cool (pun intended) that the surface stays safe incase you have little ones around the house who have exploratory little fingers. I have cooked on a regular electric, gas, & now induction cooktop and I can honestly say I am very happy with my purchase. Some reviews state there is a noise when cooking. There is but it is very minimal in my opinion.
I would recommend this to a friend!

love induction

Just installed today. Easy. Replaced a GE radiant cooktop with glass damage and cracked top. Had induction in a previous home and loved it. Wish I could have a 36", but the opening is only for a 30". Hopefully we will love this induction cooktop as much as we loved our previous induction range.

Not for the long haul

This product was working fine for a couple years. It now won't stay on. It's like it is overheating. So I can't cook anything that needs a hot surface. It shuts off. Very disappointed. Cannot cook on a cooktop. Problematic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love where the burners are on the stove. The responsiveness of the heat is awesome. I was unable to get gas in my home and I think this is even better!

Burner size an issue

your pots MUST FIT exactly the size of the burners otherwise burner turns off.

For the best performance from your induction burner, it is best practice to match the pan size to the burner size since heating will only occur above the burner's cooking circle. Cookware should make full contact with the glass surface and be magnetic.
