Temperature variances on heat settings seem off

It is very hard getting used to the instantaneous heat feature of the induction cooktop. I like it but I've certainly burned a few dishes. After a couple weeks, I'm starting to get the hang of it. I believe there should be more of a heat variance when selecting the lower heat level settings and less heat variance when selecting the higher heat level settings. It is also hard to keep clean as any product other than specialty cleaner, causes smears and streaking. The specialty cleaner is something you buff on and wipe/polish off, which is as much fun as waxing my car, Since I've not used induction before, I'm not sure whether my comments are common across all induction cooktops or not. But I hesitate giving this a full 5 stars.

Glass Cracked in 5 Days after Installation - GE In

The cooktop cracked in 5 days from ordinary use. We installed the GE Induction Cooktop Model number PHP9030DTBB, Serial Number - SNAZ131685Q, on 14th Feb 2024, and the glass cracked on 19th Feb. Now we have a crack on the big burner, which we have used for hardly a couple of hours in 5 days.
