I just love my new cooktop. I especially love the fact I don’t have to clean around knobs. I can’t wait to buy me a smart pan so I can really use all the functions of the cooktop.

Controls unpredictable. Shuts down and increase to full power without touching. Requires clean fingers and good ability to see.

Beautiful countertop. We’ve always owned GE products and recently many Profile ones. Just had it installed Feb 2024 and noticed while I was cooking the Precision cook spot turned off (said HOT) while I was cooking…it showed no levels of where I started which was about med-high. I assume I just bumped the controls. This was one of my worries as well as the biggest circle was in the back forcing me to reach more vs it being in front. I realize the design is complicated with no knobs etc but wondering how this will workout in the long run. I’m sure I’ll get use to it! So far so good!

Cooktop surface scratches too easily. You also have to polish after every use, else looks crappy and dirty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
