Room for improvement

Countertop gasket wasn't pre-installed, instead it came in a crumpled mess. Getting a proper seal was challenging. Also after using it for a few weeks, we find that pans hum, buzz, or vibrate with this cooktop. Multi layer cookware (5+) isn't supposed to do this, however it still does. Not sure if the quality of this GE Profile Induction cooktop is up to par or not.

We had an older GE Profiles induction cooktop. We loved it but after 10 years it stopped working and the replacement part was 1/2 the cost of replacing it. We tried a cheaper brand but it did not compare so we bought this one. So far we are as happy with it as we were with our first one. A little disappointed that there’s no real WiFi control, only a monitor

Good choice for an induction cooktop

Looks great but the largest burner is too big for most pots and wastes space. Everything else works fine.

Excellent induction system. It also has several security features for children, or cats that like to walk on it. Warms up right away and cooks everything well.Just a slight learning curve on the heat settings, especially if you’re not used to induction cooking.

Love my new induction cooktop! I wasn't sure about induction cooking having only used gas....but this has me convinced! Easy to use, heats evenly, no burning of food or cookware. It's great!

I love it! Easy to use, looks great, and most importantly very energy efficient.

Learning to use induction

Bought induction due to environmental concerns about gas. Technology allows quick heating response. We had to replace our non-magnetic material cookware. Also have concerns about two of the burners not staying energized when activated. Could be an issue with the percentage of iron in the pans.
Keeping the glass surface clean and unscratched requires careful cleaning each time.
GE Profile was significantly cheaper than Bosch. Hope we made the right choice.
