Difficult to start. Sometimes the burners will not turn on. Sometimes a burner will automatically turn off when using more than 1.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Glass does not make a good surface

Thought we would love this product, since it was advertised as "you can boil water in under a minute!" Well you can, but the buttons are difficult to set. We set a plastic dish, yes plastic, on the edge of the glass cover and it chipped and caused a crack. Very disappointed in what is supposed to be a prime product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very touchy!

First one we had installed didn’t work correctly. The pans would only work if they were in the exact right spot on the burner. The unit was replaced finally after several attempts to repair. The new unit works better but the largest burner says it will recognize an 8” pan, it does not! I wish I would have stuck with an electric stove instead. This one is to particular on just the right type and size of pan and they are expensive!

Unprotected glass edge can be damaged easily. Installed with the rubber gasket leaves it hanging just waiting to be chipped off. The controls are not easy to use. Good luck on getting a blue tooth thermometer, or one that will work reliably. See the reviews on that overly expensive and unavailable accessory. Using the large “burner” at full seems to make the other burners step down a bit, so you have to compensate their settings.

Where is the printed manual?

So far, so good. Would have awarded extra star had the unit come with printed operating and care instructions. I don’t like needing to print out from internet.

Heats up quickly!

Originally, we were having operation issues with our Caphalon pots. Once, we figured out they didn’t work with the appliance, we ordered a new set. All is good and the cooktop performs well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic product! So easy to use, heats up instantly. So, so much better than my last unit. I love the controls, almost completely intuitive. I didn't have to look up anything in the manual. It was just that easy to use. Quality materials. I have no doubt that this stovetop will last. Very happy.
