Easy to use, yet frustrating

Got this warmer for our second baby. Our first warmer was very simple, just measure out water and let it do its thing. But the appeal to this warmer was all of the presets and capabilities would make it easier than measuring out amounts of water that equaled a certain time to warm a certain amount of milk. First time I used it, was very impressed, the bottle was the perfect temp. Couldn’t have been more excited. Then I quickly realized this thing is crazy inconsistent. I warm up breastmilk from the fridge, so the bottle going in is always a consistent temperature. With that variable being constant, I will sometimes get bottles that are still cold, sometimes too hot. It doesn’t correlate with the water amount in the chamber because I change that out every couple of bottles. As a dad, I can’t instantly feed an unhappy baby. I don’t mind waiting the almost 7 minutes it takes for 5oz. but if it’s still cold after that time, it just further frustrates both me and a now very unhappy baby. Honestly for the amount of money this costs, I don’t recommend it at all, you’re better off with another warmer or alternative methods of warming.

Great product

The milkspa is great! It's easy to use has settings you can switch from room temperature, fridge, and freezer. The only thing the room temperature setting heats the milk up a little to warm for my liking, but you can change the time so I just knock off a couple of minutes. It's great you can customize the time that works for you and your baby. And when you turn it back on to use again it saves the last setting you did so less buttons to push. It also comes with two caps to put on your Dr.Brown bottle to heat up which is fantastic, comes with the wide neck and orginal bottle size.I love it, i previously used the tommee tippie warmer and this Dr.Browns milkspa runs circles around it. I can't express how much I love this product! You can't go wrong with it. I have used it for a little over a week now and it has made my life a little bit easier and you can sterilize in it also! Pretty cool I'd say!

Love the Option to Unthaw Frozen Breastmilk

I love the versatility of the Milk Spa! I exclusively pump & bottle feed breastmilk with my Dr. Browns bottles. With pumping, I have a stash of frozen breastmilk, & I love that I am able to unthaw & warm my frozen breastmilk storage bags in the milk spa!! It’s much more efficient verse running under hot water or boiling a pan of water.
The warmer works the same as the original Dr. Browns bottle warmer when warming bottles which is simple to use!
The only downfall I have is when warming a bottle, it takes about double the time verse the original bottle warmer. If I warm 3oz in the original, it takes 3.5mins. & in the milk spa takes about 6mins.
However, it’s not a huge deal when able to thaw frozen milk!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great but very slow

I have used this for about a week now and I love that it consistently gets the bottle to the same temp but hate how long it takes. You essentially have to have the baby on a feeding schedule and start warming the bottle before they even know they want it because it takes about 20 minutes to warm a bottle from the fridge. I have twins and taking 20 minutes for each bottle is not ideal, as the first bottle will be cold by the time the second is done, and buying 2 warmers to preemptively warm bottles simultaneously is not what I’d want. however, if you have fresh expressed breast milk that is room temp and your baby won’t take it that way, this warmer works well for that as it takes less than half the time.

Not the greatest

I loved that this heats up breastmilk and preserves its nutrients but it takes way too long... I tried heating a dr brown bottle with their provided cap and it takes about 5 plus minutes for 2 ounces of fridge stored formula. My baby takes 3.5 ounce now and they dont have an option for increasing the ounces gradually. Also I have been warming it up at 7minutes and it just does not heat up. I noticed that initially the water used to heat and rise up and then descend but not it barely rises up even though its filled to the marker inside. Very disappointed

Takes longer than expected

I would give this warmer 5 stars IF it we're able to be custom programmed. 6mins is not enough time for a bottle of milk straight from the fridge. The sweet spot for us is about 7.5 mins. I wanted to get something to heat our twins bottles for dad when he's with the babes warming my pumped breastmilk. Instead of pressing 2 quick buttons , he has to manually increase the time from 6 mins to 7.5 mins. May sound silly , but those few extra steps actually make a difference when you're a parent of twins. Every second counts.

Easy to use and a lot of options

I like that the bottle warmer has options for temperature whether the milk is frozen or refrigerated. The options for number of ounces and type of bottle are very easy to use. One of my favorite features is the timer and automatic shut off based off of the temperature and size of the bottle. So far, I found the timer to be pretty accurate to reach an appropriate temperature. A few negatives is that the size is bigger than my previously owned bottle warmer and there are more pieces. For the initial use I had a hard time unlocking the piece to add the water in but found this was much easier with subsequent uses. Overall, this is a good product and I will continue to use it.

Absolutely worthy Product

I have been using dr.brows milkSPA warmer for a while now. It’s life saver especially during night time. I just need to adjust the warmer setting once and that get saved it memory. I just need to press ON button, confirm the time and hit start button. Warmer does its Job and buzzes once time is up, I don’t need to wait or keep checking it. Also it has light on screen which helps at night time. It warms bottle quickly and milk inside of it is circulating so there is no heat spot.
