Solid, easy to use, aesthetic & tasty

This grinder has unlocked my coffee experience at home. Before this, I used a high-quality, manual conical burr grinder but the Fellow Ode Gen 2 with its bigger flat burrs has always delivered me better results to my taste. It is a well-designed and easy to use grinder. It feels solid and has some good weight to it. It looks great on my bar and definitely think that I will not need to upgrade for a long time. If you're getting serious about your coffee at home, this is a great investment to take advantage of on the daily. A warning though: the time you'll save grinding if you come from a manual grinder will make you want to brew more!

I’ve tried various grinders like the Breville, Baratza and Eureka. The ode brew grinder generation two has been the best grinding experience and performance. It has a smart aesthetically functioning design that helps to make a great cup of coffee.

So many great features in such a small machine!

Recently purchased this grinder based on a review, and so glad I did. It’s FAST (12s for 60g), QUIET (68.3 dBA AVG at 18”), and CLEAN catching the grinds (dial at “8” for my Moccamaster drip). There’s more: I’m a retired EE and really appreciate the auto-off feature (motor current sense?) when grinding is done. Also, the mechanism you flick to remove the few grinds in the burrs sure beats using the heel of my hand on the grinder body. Kudos to your team—hoping this machine lasts, it’s a real pleasure to use.

I have been using the ode gen 2 for less than a week and the feed is already jamming. It grinds well, when the beans make it to the burrs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
