Beautiful but flawed

We purchased this maybe 3 or 4 months ago. It is constantly getting jammed. We use high quality beans from local coffee shops and grind coffee 5 or 6 times per week with it and it continues to jam. I think the problem is the design of the 2 wires near the exit port of the grinder. Ground coffee tends to clog this section. The only way to clean it out (without disassembly) is to stick something into the port from the bottom side, but then all the clogged grounds fall out everywhere. This product is great looking, but it does not meet our expectations in terms of usability.
Had to ship my old grinder back to Fellow because it stopped working after 9 months, now the replacement sent me is already broken after 2 months. I’m done.
Even on largest grind setting, Ode jams repeatedly.

Jam problem. Even on the largest grind setting, the Ode jams repeatedly. I’ve experienced this across two different units, both with the Gen 2 burrs. It’s a beautiful and easy-to-operate machine, but this strikes me as a flaw in design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For a v2.0 this is a miss

More static than the Ode 1, makes more of a mess outside of the catch jar. Louder (but not loud) than the Ode 1, and I can’t see a difference in grind quality between the two at all. I’d be curious to try the upgraded burrs, but for a v2.0, this is a miss.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good looks, poor performance

This machine is all about the form factor and hire it looks. Its actual performance as a premium coffee grinder, however, has been very disappointing. Regardless of the setting used on the machine, grinds are uneven, with chunkier pieces getting through. Fellow customer service had new recalibrate the burrs, which I did. Performance did not change. A friend has a Baratza burr grinder. It is not that impressive to look at, but it’s grinds are far more uniform than this machine.
Was sucked into buying this grinder by its seductive looks. Grinder performs poorly, routinely shutting off before all the beans are ground. The beans don’t seem to flow evenly down to the grinder burrs. The motor senses no more beans are being ground and it shuts off. You can keep pushing the button and slapping the side of grinder to get the job done but really for the kind of money I paid for this thing that is ridiculous. Has some nice features, but the engineering is only half baked. This happened from the very first time I used it so I can’t blame it on being dirty. Tried different beans to no avail. This is 2nd generation model and they still didn’t get it right.
Disappointing - Broke after a few weeks. Grinder stopped mid grind while using the same bag of coffee been a I have been since getting the grinder. Something like this should never happen with a product at this price point, very disappointed and cannot recommend. Sad because I liked the grind quality and noise level; if only it can keep grinding.
