Expensive - yes, but I've never been happier with a purchase. Otjer than grind setting, this machine has one [on/off] switch. No timers, buzzers, bells, whistles or flashing lights. It has but one function and does it so incredibly well. I exclusively use the Aeropress method but this machine reminds me of the Technivorm #4 cone filter drip coffee machine - it too has nothing more than an on/off switch. Nothing to break or stop working. Ode Gen 2 is solidly built, quiet and quick. Perfect.

Massive upgrade over my old grinder. 90%+ reduction in fines that sneak past the metal filter in my Aeropress and so much quieter

Great grinder. Easy to use and fairly quiet. Like the measuring lid as well for a quick way to get the right amount of beans without pulling out the scale.

The Warranty Provides Peace of Mind!

After our first Ode Grinder broke down, they sent us a replacement that has been exceptionally performant. I do sort of dread the day there might be a jam and I need to open up the front to clear the grounds in the system, but maybe that was just a bug in my first model and we’ve got smooth sailing ahead?

Quiet little workhorse

I love the design as it really fits with the esthetic of our kitchen. What I love even more is the multitude of grind sizes this little machine is capable of. This grinder has helped me produce consistently great Chemex, Kalita, & French press. My only complaint is that the cover for the grounds cup isn't the most secure.

We’ve had the grinder for two weeks and it has worked as advertised being only two weeks. Very satisfied with the quality workmanship though! Time will tell! 👍🏻
